Blue Tansey & Blue Spirulina Exfoliating Clay Mask

The formula has been perfected! The problem was finding the right container and designing the label. I ended up choosing a light blue glass jar with a white lid, that holds .7 oz. This will hold 5-6 applications, depending on how thickly it is applied. The jar is too tiny for a proper label, so I will package the jar in a little box and include an insert with ingredients and directions.

Holiday Candles

The Angelina Store will be offering four holiday candles:

  • Pumpkin Spice

  • Cinnamon Apple

  • Christmas Tree

  • Candy Cane Mocha

The Pumpkin Spice will be poured into 8 oz. glass amber jars with a black, metal, screw-top lid. Cinnamon Apple scented candles will be poured into red 8 oz glass tumblers with black metal, screw-top lids, and the Christmas Tree candles will be poured into 8 oz green glass jars. All of the fragrances for these are from Plant Guru. For the Candy Cane Mocha candles, I haven’t decided yet on whether they will be poured into red or amber jars. The fragrance for Candy Cane Mocha is by Candle Science.

All four of these candles should be ready for listing by this weekend, October 12 & 13, so watch this space! Candles do require a week or so to cure, so keep that in mind if you buy one right away.

Custom Floral Tea-Light Collection

One of my favorite customers suggested I sell a set of tea-lights with a variety of scents. I decided to create a customizable collection where customers can select from twelve different floral scents. Some of the tealights are poured into heart-shaped, plastic cups, and others in the usual round, tin cups. This product will be listed week after next.

Good Things Coming Your Way

Decoupage candle tins with a lemon design for candles are almost finished. After a month-long wait for the tins to cure, they can then be sealed and filled with Limoncello fragrance oil.

“Queets River” fragrance blend has been completed, and we’ve made a few molded candles with that scent. The smell is green, wet and gorgeous. The label will use a photograph of the Queets River taken during a trip to the peninsula. Forest green candle jars with a gold mirror reflective coating on the inside were ordered for the candles.

“Salish Sea” fragrance blend is in development, waiting on salt spray and kelp fragrance oils to complete the blend. The label will use a photograph of the Salish Sea, taken at Beach 3 just north of Klaloch.

“Summer Rain” fragrance blend is in development as well. The label will be made with an AI image of Seattle.
