Working from home had already turned me into a home-body fussbudget hunting for new things to do, then an unexpected, life-changing headache left me with nerve damage resulting in one permanently goofy eye followed by two years of pain. At the tail end of that life-dazing stretch, my niece gifted me a candle-making kit and something wild sparked. I registered a domain, had a logo designed, and dove into blending oils, lotions, and scents like it was my lifeline—because it was exactly that.
